ESTABLISHMENT SECTION

The Establishment section looks after the overall administrative matters relating to the establishment of the Department. The work mainly relates to appointment of staff, transfer of staff and the maintenance of the service records and leave accounts of the staff of this Department. The maintenance of office vehicles/requisition of petrol is dealt by this Section. This Section also does the purchase of office equipment. 

All the correspondence of this Department is received by the Inward clerk of this Section, after entering in the Inward Register, it is submitted to the Director for the perusal, after that the correspondence is distributed to all the sections to which it pertains.

The staff of this Department are also posted at all the Talukas of this State where one can get the information about how to apply/renew the licences issued by this department such as foodgrains, kerosene, naphtha solvent, etc. and also the information of issue of Ration Cards, fair price shops, etc. can be obtained at Taluka level from the staff of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs.
